How to arrange cleaning and alterations together

  1. Bring the garments

    Keep care labels attached. Point out stains, repairs and fit changes. For a fitting, bring the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear.

  2. Discuss the work

    We assess cleaning and alterations separately, explain what is possible, and discuss the cost and order of work. Tell us your deadline before we start.

  3. Confirm collection

    We confirm timing after assessment. Your cleaning is handled on-premises, and you collect your items from the same Eagle Ridge store.

Ask us about cleaning, pressing and fit changes during the same visit. Each garment and service is assessed before work begins.

We dry clean suits, shirts and pants, with washing and pressing available too. Bring the full outfit for a fitting when sleeves, hems or the fit need changing.

Bring your dress, shoes and planned undergarments for a fitting. Wedding dress cleaning and alterations are available year-round; tell us the event date and the changes you want.

Everyday clothes, hems & repairs

Bring jeans, pants, skirts, jackets or other clothing with the repair or fit change you need. Show us damaged seams, missing buttons or a zip that no longer works.

Work uniforms, coveralls & patches

Ask about cleaning, repairs and sewing customer-supplied patches onto work clothing. Bring employer instructions and manufacturer requirements for safety workwear. Alterations do not certify protective performance.

Visit 129–375 Loutit Rd, in East Village Plaza next to Tim Hortons. We welcome customers from Thickwood, Timberlea, downtown and across Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo. We are open Monday–Friday, 9 am–6 pm, and Saturday, 10 am–5 pm.

Can I arrange dry cleaning and alterations at the same store?
Yes. Sunshine offers dry cleaning, laundry, pressing, alterations and clothing repairs at our Eagle Ridge store. Bring your garments in so we can assess the cleaning and fit changes, then discuss pricing and collection timing.
Should my clothes be cleaned before they are altered?
Tell us about any stains and fit changes when you bring the garment in. We will discuss the order of the cleaning and alteration work after assessing the fabric, care label and construction.
What should I bring for a fitting?
Bring the garment and explain what you would like changed. For hems, dresses and suits, bring the shoes and any undergarments you plan to wear. Tell us your event date or deadline.
Do you offer a cleaning and alterations package?
We can assess cleaning and alterations during the same visit. Pricing depends on the garments and work involved; ask for a free estimate before work starts. We do not publish a fixed combination-package price.
Can you clean and alter my clothes on the same day?
Call (587) 276-2998 before visiting with an urgent request. Same-day or rush availability depends on the items, the work required and our current workload. We confirm what is achievable after assessment.

Visit 129-375 Loutit Rd, East Village Plaza in Eagle Ridge, Fort McMurray, AB T9K 0Z5. We are next to Tim Hortons and open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. We are closed Sunday.
