Website privacy

Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit and whether they click a phone, email or directions link. A click does not tell us whether someone completed a call, sent an email or visited our store.

Google Analytics only loads after you choose Accept. It uses cookies to distinguish browsers and measure visits. Google receives technical information such as browser and device information and processes network information, including your IP address, to provide the service. Our configured events do not include your name, email address, phone number, message contents or the contact details in a clicked link. We remove query strings and fragments from the page and referrer URLs we send.

We do not enable Google signals, advertising personalization or advertising storage in this integration. Google may process information outside Canada. Learn more about Google’s privacy practices and its Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Optional PostHog analytics and session replay

After you choose Accept, visitors whose connection is located in Canada may also have masked sessions recorded by PostHog. Cloudflare checks the connection’s country; this is not a citizenship check and VPNs can affect the result. We use these recordings and events to understand navigation, service interest, contact actions, form starts and whether the website accepted an inquiry. A successful website submission does not confirm a booking, a store visit or an email being read.

We mask page text and input values and exclude inquiry forms, embedded frames and canvases from recordings. We do not enable automatic click or text capture, console logging, network request or response body capture, or identified visitor profiles. Our explicit events contain page paths, contact-action categories and form type, not your entered details. We remove URL query strings and fragments from analytics. PostHog uses browser storage and anonymous identifiers to associate events and recordings. Information is processed by PostHog outside Canada. See PostHog’s privacy policy.

Your choice

Accept and Reject are equally available. We save your choice in this browser’s local storage. If it cannot save your choice, optional analytics stays off. We ask again before adding session replay even if you previously accepted Google Analytics. You can change your choice using Analytics settings in the footer. Rejecting after accepting stops future analytics and recordings, clears the analytics browser storage and cookies and reloads the page. It does not delete information already collected by Google or PostHog.

Other website services

This analytics choice does not control all third-party services on the website. Our website server fetches public Google review data for display on this site; the reviews do not load a third-party widget in your browser. Pages may load Google Maps for an embedded map. These services may receive technical information when you visit or interact with them, independently of your analytics choice.

See Google’s privacy policy. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, also processes requests to deliver and protect this website.

Contacting Sunshine

When you submit a contact, commercial or patch quote form, Cloudflare processes the details you enter and sends them by email to our team so we can respond. Optional patch artwork and garment photos are sent as private email attachments, not published on the website. We do not send form contents or uploads to Google Analytics or PostHog, or use them for marketing. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and network information to help prevent automated spam. Email delivery and security processing may take place outside Canada. Please only upload files you have permission to share, and do not include payment details or other sensitive information. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you contact us by phone or email, we receive the information you choose to share so we can respond to your inquiry. For questions about this website’s privacy practices, email sunshinedrycleaners@hotmail.com or call (587) 276-2998.
